Duties and Responsibilities (essential duties are italicized )
Operational Management
- Manage day-to-day operations, ensuring processes run smoothly and efficiently.
- Improve throughput and other operation processes with the objective of reducing overall costs.
- Meet daily production goals and ensure adherence to schedules to maximize output and efficiency.
- Management of changes on operational process / machineries / facility.
- Establish and implement team goals / objectives and procedures conferring with direct report / functional team manager and staff where necessary.
- Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure operational success and drive results.
- Identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance operational efficiency and productivity to ensure team complies with 5-S standards.
- Coordinate repairs and maintenance work in the factory.
- Enforce compliance with all corporate policies and procedures.
- Report any accident / incident or potential risk to direct report in time with appropriate count measures.
- Other duties as assigned.
People Management
- Lead and mentor staff, fostering a positive work environment and promoting professional development.
- Collaborate with team to identify essential training, critical experiences, and development opportunities for both individuals and teams.
- Develop and implement personnel planning strategies to ensure optimal staffing and resource allocation.
- Provide coaching and mentoring to functional team managers and conduct performance evaluations.
- Oversee the UKG system for timecard approvals and monitor employee attendance.
- Participate in hiring processes, including interviewing and selecting candidates to build a strong team.

Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required
- Minimum five years of manufacturing management experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- Ability to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization
- Proven supervisory skills and demonstrated leadership capabilities
- Ability to create accountability and to lead by example
- Strong team building, decision-making, and people management skills
- Be knowledgeable of safety, quality, productivity, and inventory processes
- Fluency in English with the ability to clearly communicate verbally and in writing. Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
- Basic knowledge of chemicals, ability to read and comprehend SDS.
- Competent use of Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to develop thorough understanding of operational procedures to practice safe manufacturing.
- Ability to meet physical demands of the job which include, but are not limited to : sitting, walking, bending, pushing, pulling, lifting, and walking for extended periods of time on a concrete floor, and occasionally lifting and carrying items which may weigh up to 50 pounds.
- Vision must be within or correctable to within normal range.

This position is salary / exempt and has a pay range of $66,000-$83,000 / annually. Eligible for 5% merit bonus annually.
