The Company

Our client is a fast growing clinical research site network that started in 2015 and grew to 11 sites with plans to double in the next couple years! They have run over 400 clinical studies in Phase I - IV in therapeutic areas mainly focused in GI, Hepatology, and CNS! Their goal is to be the best place to work in the country, and they are excited to find people excited to make that vision come to life through quality patient care and research.

Right now they are looking for a Board Certified Physician to join the team and they are willing to train on clinical research!

The Role

The Principal Investigator r is responsible for oversight and execution of clinical trials that test new medications on the behalf of sponsor / pharmaceutical companies! You will work in a clinic to promote Good Clinical Practice and follow research protocols assigned.

This includes things like medical management of patients on trial, administering medications, documentation, tracking and management of adverse events, and overall management of the study.

You will have a team of skilled coordinators, NPs, and assistants as well!

  • Evaluate and screen potential subjects based on study eligibility criteria
  • Perform and review medical procedures in accordance with the clinical study protocol
  • Complete all documentation, paper and electronic
  • Provide oversight and ensures proper delegation of duties to appropriate staff
  • Provide and maintain updated study related documentation
  • Evaluate and report safety reports, protocol noncompliance and any other protocol specific reports.

Qualifications

  • Board Certified Physician in General Medicine, Family Practice, Urgent Care, or similar
  • At least 2 years experience working as a physician
  • Ability to dedicate a full time schedule, on-site in Marrero, LA
