Enjet Aero machines and fabricates complex jet engine parts, components and assemblies for leading OEMs in the commercial, defense and general aviation sectors.

Position Description :

The Supplier Quality Manager is fully responsible for our supplier oversight program that is compliant with customer requirements, including : generation of supplier ratings, coordinating quarterly supplier reviews, performing supplier surveys and on-site audits.

This position will also be responsible for assisting our Quality Departments on supplier problem resolution and coordinating first article inspections for suppliers.

This is a multi-site position covering all Enjet locations and will require travel.

Essential Responsibilities :

  • Manages supplier quality activities to ensure that suppliers’ production and quality systems and processes meet our customer requirements
  • Leads audits and assessments of our suppliers
  • Assesses capability and capacity of suppliers to perform current or potential future work
  • Develops training materials and other resources to support improvements in supplier performance and productivity
  • Develops and maintains relationships with suppliers and customers
  • Manages the corrective / preventative action planning

Qualifications :

  • 3+ years experience in Quality, Supplier Quality, or Supplier Management
  • 3+ years in an Aerospace environment
  • Experience performing quantitative or statistical analysis, data collection, preparation and interpretation
  • Experience gathering data and performing Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA)
  • Experience in Quality Management System (QMS)
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Must be able to work independently and on a team
