We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Biller to join our group psychology clinic. The ideal candidate must have medical billing experience and be passionate about making a positive impact in the mental health field.
Qualifications : MUST HAVE
MUST HAVE
- Bachelors degree or equivalent professional experience (associates degree, medical billing certificate)
- Experience with medical billing and accounts receivable
- Experience with EHR software
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Organized self-starter who can work both independently and as part of a team
- Ability to problem-solve and adapt to change
- Ability to both prioritize and multi-task
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good time management skills
- Proficiency with Google G-Suite and Microsoft Office 365
Responsibilities
Primary responsibility is to support smooth operations within the office, which entails a diverse range of daily tasks, primarily focused on medical billing, as well as communicating with clients about insurance coverage and payments, prior authorizations, and supporting the full-time office manager with insurance related matters.
Occasional coverage when Office Manager is out of office.
Hours : Tues, Wed, Thur 8 : 00-3 : 00 in office (this is NOT a remote position. This is a PART TIME position and is not eligible for full time hours)
Pay and Benefits :
$23-25 / hour dependent on experience
