The Area Service Manager is responsible for creation and implementation of the Area service plan & making necessary recommendations to the General Manager and management team, as well as working to position Morgan as the value leader in the market segments in which we compete.
Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to : Meet with key customers, assess current service levels, identify emerging and / or unmet needs, & implementing service improvements.
Retain target customer base through relationship building & renewing contracts.Achieve Service department goals in budget, customer retention, revenue / profit growth, & material control.
Along with the Area Management team, develop area pricing & contract terms strategy for each market segment.Recruit, hire, & train all service members regularly on service responsibilities, revenue growth, product knowledge, negotiation, industry knowledge / competitive trends, pricing, & profitability.
Responsible for service administration, including systems adherence, compensation, & reports.Protect company resources including members, material, & fleet resources by following all Morgan policies.
Be a leader in executing strategies to achieve new company initiatives.Conduct regular performance reviews / get-togethers.
Complete all paperwork properly & accurately for each customer & Service Department at daily check-in.

Area Service Manager Qualifications : Must have High School Diploma / GEDCollege Degree a plus but not requiredMust be 21+ yrs.
of age w / valid driver’s license & clean driving recordMust have 3+ yrs.
of strong leadership & management experience (inspiring, & motivating large service teams of Managers, Supervisors, & Route Service Representatives)Must be comfortable with face-to-face communication w / ability to build rapport with customersMust have strong verbal & written communication & negotiation skillsMust have ability to personally drive & train team members to drive a box truck / step van to & from client sitesMust have ability to meet requirements of this physically demanding role(including lifting / carrying 35-40 lbs.
