Job Description

Summary

Maintain / enhance quality management system to ensure continued compliance to customer and industry requirements (e.g., ISO 9001 / AS9100).

Maintain appropriate supplier controls for purchased raw materials, including supplier audits and verification of purchased product upon receipt.

Essential Functions

  • Maintain quality assurance program in accordance with the latest applicable customer and industry requirements (e.g., ISO 9001 / AS9100), which includes procedure revisions and process map development.
  • Schedule and maintain supplier and internal audit program, including hazard review risk assessments.
  • Conduct supplier / internal audits and complete reports.
  • Maintain approved supplier listing and audit schedules.
  • Conduct internal auditor training and maintain auditor qualification program.
  • Conduct raw material release functions in a timely manner, including review of vendor certificates and resolution of any supplier-related issues.
  • Ensure TIMET overcheck inspections are conducted IAW procedure.
  • Provide timely disposition of purchased nonconforming product.
  • Liaise with suppliers on any quality / technical issues.
  • Prepare and conduct bi-annual Management Review Meetings (Quality Team Meetings).
  • Facilitate external (customer and third party) quality systems audits of the Henderson plant.
  • Maintain CAR / PAR program including monthly updates and reporting.
  • Provide monthly updates for OFI and SOP Review status.
  • Support STAR development with Quality Assurance activities (internal audits, CAR system, Nonconformance system, etc.) and conduct STAR-related training as necessary.
  • Coordinate and control the status of and response to Henderson customer complaints.
  • Maintain document control system for SOPs, TOPS, RMSs including Intranet system updates.
  • Establish training programs as necessary to keep personnel updated in customer quality requirements.
  • Conduct new hire and refresher quality training as required.

Education and Experience

Minimum : BS degree in an Engineering field, Metallurgical / Chemical / Materials Science Engineering, or related field with 3-5 years in Engineering or Quality Control / Assurance in a manufacturing facility.

5+ years in a Titanium Metallurgy or Quality Control / Assurance in a primary metals production facility preferred.

Additional Notes

Assure all ingot production meets or exceeds customer order requirements in a timely manner. Clear / release quality-related production support documents on a daily basis.

For informational purposes only, the range for hourly base pay for this role is $88,800 to $110,900 based on a variety of factors.

Also, for informational purposes only, this role is eligible to participate in the Company’s Quarterly Cash Bonus Plan, paid out at the quarterly bonus factor of 2.

5x the Company’s bonus multiple, based on the Company’s performance in the applicable quarter.
