Job Description

We are currently seeking an Operations Manager with a strong emphasis on Thermal Spray and HVOF technologies for a growing Manufacturing company in Houston, TX!

Key Responsibilities :

Production & Planning

  • Manage daily production operations, ensuring efficient use of labor, materials, and equipment.
  • Oversee production planning to meet customer demand and optimize resource allocation.
  • Monitor performance metrics and address operational gaps through corrective actions.

Compliance, Safety & Quality

  • Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 standards and internal quality systems.
  • Report and investigate quality and safety incidents; lead corrective action efforts.

    • Financial & Administrative Oversight

  • Support budget and CAPEX planning.
  • Track productivity and profitability metrics.

    • Leadership & Continuous Improvement

  • Build a positive, safety-driven work culture.
  • Coach and mentor production staff to ensure high performance and engagement.

    • Required Skills & Experience

  • Expertise in thermal spray technologies (HVOF, Plasma, JP, DJ) and robotic automation preferred.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 and / or AS9100 quality systems.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.

    • Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years in a manufacturing or coatings environment strongly preferred.
  • 5+ years in a production or operations leadership role required.
