About The Position
Job Title : Physical TherapistJob Specialty : PT Acute Care HospitalJob Duration : 13 weeksShift : Day 5x8-Hour (08 : 30 - 17 : 00)Guaranteed Hours : 72 hours per two weeksExperience : Minimum of 1 year of experienceLicense : AK PT License (Pending license accepted)Certifications : BLSMust-Have : Acute Care / Outpatient ExperienceJob Description : - Perform physical therapy in a Level IV Trauma, Critical Access Hospital with 46 acute care beds and 22 long-term care beds.
- Work with patients of all ages and diagnoses, including wound care, lymphedema, pelvic floor, and pediatric specialties.
- Provide therapy to outpatients, inpatients, and SNF patients.- Utilize Epic for charting and patient record management.
- Participate in a flexible schedule accommodating the needs of the facility.- Be open to block scheduling when possible.
- Be willing to work two of the three major holidays : Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year.- Commit to a 13-week assignment with the expectation to float to meet facility needs if required.
- Maintain professionalism with business casual or any scrub color attire. Additional Information : Facility provides housing and a rental vehicle for the duration of the assignment.
- Housing units are available for move-in 72 hours before the contract begins and must be vacated 24 hours after the contract ends.
- Pets are not allowed in housing units.- Vehicle provided is for local use and should not exceed a 30-mile radius from the facility.
- Compliance with facility protocols for the return of housing and vehicle is required. Vaccination Requirements : COVID-19 vaccine is required with medical / religious exemptions allowed.
- Facility does not accept Hep B titers or declination, only documented vaccines.
