Job Title : Electrical Assembler

Pay $19 / hr

Hours : 6am to 3pm M-F

Location : South Chandler

Job Description

This position involves the assembly of electrically heated hoses, requiring the operation of a hose wrapping machine to wrap wire and insulation around the hose.

This task requires long periods of standing. The role also involves the assembly of wiring harnesses on a harness board, hand assembly of smaller harness assemblies, and the assembly of electronic control boxes as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate hose wrapping machine to wrap wire and insulation around hoses.
• Assemble wiring harnesses on a harness board.
• Hand assemble smaller harness assemblies.
• Assemble electronic control boxes when needed.

Essential Skills

• Experience in assembly (6+ months).
• Ability to read and understand engineering blueprints.
• Proficiency in reading a tape measure.
• Familiarity with basic hand tools and small power tools.
• Mechanically inclined.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Blueprint reading experience is a big plus.
• Understanding angles, tooling, and cutting.
• Experience in electrical assembly, wiring, and installation.
• Knowledge of wire harnesses, cables, and PCBs.

We offer a $300 deductible for medical benefits, which is extremely low. Employees receive 6% profit sharing, 3 weeks of paid vacation after one year (4 weeks including sick time), and a 401K match of 2%.

Work Environment

This role is set in a large manufacturing environment, with both indoor and outdoor areas. Part of the area is air-conditioned, though most is not.

The potential exists to work 10 hours of overtime per week, with shifts running from 6am to 2 : 30pm, and the possibility of working from 5am to 4 / 5pm.

The dress code requires steel-toed boots, pants or work jeans, and a t-shirt.
