Liquid Cooling Design Engineer

Liquid Cooling Design Engineer Mechanical Engineering leads and delivers the development of innovative and compliant mechanical design solutions, as well as cross-functional interfaces for AI, Cloud, High Performance Computing (HPC), Edge computing devices and enterprise networking, server and storage products.

Our team conducts the analysis, feasibility studies and testing of mechanical products, instruments, subassemblies and packaging for new and existing products and then oversees the introduction of design changes to the manufacturing organizations.

What you’ll achieve As a Liquid Cooling Design Engineer, you will be a vital member of our cross-functional engineering team and will be instrumental in delivering advanced liquid cooling solutions for AI, HPC, and enterprise server markets.

Your primary responsibility will be to lead the thermal design of liquid cooling components, ensuring the creation of innovative and highly reliable solutions.

You will : Design heat transfer surfaces and coolant flow paths for cold plates Design coolant distribution solutions within the loop for parallel flow solutions and support cooling network sizing Develop concepts for new innovative cold plate concepts and establish feasibility Collaborate with mechanical engineering for design tradeoffs in the cold plate design Ensure designs are manufacturable and highly reliable Take the first step towards your dream career Every Dell Technologies team member brings something unique to the table.

Here’s what we are looking for with this role : Essential Requirements 12+ years industry experience or equivalent skill;

must include 8+ years in a thermal engineering role or equivalent skill Experienced in cold plate design Expertise in internal fluid dynamics and heat transfer Experience with electronics cooling Desirable Requirements Experience with liquid cooling and / or cooling distribution units BS, MS or PhD in Mechanical engineering Compensation Dell is committed to Fair and Equitable compesation practices.
