serves as primary liaison and manager for scholarship processing software processes and platforms. Provides professional and timely assistance regarding scholarships application processes and eligibility.
Ensures compliance with applicable statutes, regulations, and procedures. Evaluates and analyzes information submitted in accordance with established standards and guidelines.
Remains current regarding regulations, policies, and procedures affecting scholarships and financial aid, and conducts work fairly, equitably, and inclusively.
Supports effective management of scholarship programs and office.Responsibilities1.SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM COORDINATIONEffectively develops and maintains information, policies, and procedures for institutional and private scholarship programs, processes, and platformsAssists in monitoring and processing for departmental and external scholarships;
serves as lead liaison to scholarship application and process development and maintenanceServes as subject matter expert and lead for scholarship processing, service, and / or program areaMonitors scholarship eligibility criteria to ensure accordance with established standards and guidelines, as well as approved policies and proceduresMaintains and monitors scholarship processing by partner offices and organizations so that scholarship payments are made timely and accuratelyCommunicates policies and procedures (including rights and responsibilities) to students, families, and colleagues in an accurate, timely, effective, thorough, equitable, and inclusive mannerCompletes multiple complex reports used to monitor and assure service and processing benchmarks, as well as accuracy of eligibility and paymentsSupports effective communication within scholarships area as well as among other areas of office and university2.

Minimum QualificationsBachelor’s degree (or equivalency) in a related field plus one year directly related experience or equivalency.
Demonstrated ability to work independently, analyze and make decisions related to program content. Strong coordination and organizational skills required to prioritize conflicting deadlines.
Demonstrated human relations and effective communication skills are also required.EQUIVALENCY STATEMENT : 1 year of higher education can be substituted for 1 year of directly related work experience.
