The Human Resource Generalist will run the daily functions of the Human Resource (HR) department including hiring and interviewing staff, administering pay, benefits, and leave, and enforcing company policies and practices.

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of HR related experience in a generalist capacity
  • 2+ years of experience in talent acquisition
  • 2+ years of experience with conflict resolution
  • Ability to write policies, procedures and processes
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficient with Google Suite software
  • Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations
  • Proficiency with ADP Workforce Now and Applicant Tracking Systems
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field or the equivalent combination of experience and education
  • PHR / SHRM a plus

What You’ll Do

  • Partner with hiring managers to oversee the recruiting process, including creating job listings, reviewing resumes, conducting interviews, and completing reference and background checks
  • Coordinate and deliver a complete and informative onboarding experience for all new hires, including employee benefits information
  • Conduct new hire touchpoints, stay interviews, and exit interviews to better understand the engagement and connection of our employees to their jobs and the overall culture, values, and goals of the organization
  • Ensure the HRIS database records are accurate, consistent, and compliant through regular audits, including I-9 records
  • Provide assistance to management in interpreting policy, offering HR guidance, and resolving employee issues
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries providing guidance on company policies and procedures and benefits
  • Update HR documents, policies, and guidelines as needed
  • Assist in the development and implementation of employee engagement initiatives, such as surveys, team-building activities, and recognition programs
