Our client is currently seeking a site civil engineer design candidate for a role in our Coral Gables office.
Our client's civil engineering efforts include paving and drainage, and water and sewer designs for many large-scale and small-scale projects in South Florida, including commercial, residential, medical, as well as public facilities.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
Minimum of 3 years of directly relevant experience in civil / site development
Ability to apply critical thinking to develop options and recommendations to solve technical problems
Ability to develop working drawings for civil site plans (layout, piping, grading, drainage, and paving).
Experience with the planning and design of facility layout and site design projects
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to communicate effectively with clients and project team
Working knowledge of AutoCAD
Miami-Dade County design / permitting experience
Responsibilities
Perform civil engineering plans preparation in water and wastewater treatment and conveyance infrastructure, focused on site design project components including site layout, infrastructure piping, roadways, paving and grading, and stormwater infrastructure
Reviewa of contractor submittals for conformace with contract plans and specifications and evaluate requestd for information as part of engineering services during construction
Experience with SoFL permiting is preferred but not required
