Building upon level 1, the Bench Grinder / Deburr Level 2 works with minimal assistance to perform all levels of hand finishing tasks such as edge breaking and employing a number of different deburr tools and media to achieve specified surface finishes on a number of difference materials.
This requires basic print reading competencies, an intermediate understanding of different deburr media uses, as well as an intermediate understanding and familiarity with customer specifications such as BAC5700.
Bench Grinder / Deburr Level 2 operators also demonstrate and ability to use a number of inspection tools, such as micrometers, calipers, profilometers, etc..
Reporting Relationships :
The Bench Grinder / Deburr Level 2 will report to the Operations Supervisor.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities :
Basic & Intermediate Deburr Tasks Break edges and blend to surface finish requirement on Aluminum and / or Titanium productsAbility to blend mismatches and chatter areas down to blueprint requirement.
Basic knowledge of inspection tools, ability to check thicknesses as required.

Experience & Education :

Physical Demands & Working Condition :

- Daily duties may require sitting, standing, bending, squatting, reaching, pushing, pulling, operating, and manipulating hand tools.
- Daily duties may require extended duration of walking.
- Exposed to a Manufacturing setting with heavy machinery.
