Oracle Cloud System Administrator

Summary of Position

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Oracle Cloud Applications System Administrator to join our team. You will be working with key business user and the IT team in this role.

You will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and supporting the Oracle Cloud Applications system. Come join our team as we begin our journey to Oracle Cloud Applications.

Preferred Qualifications

• 4 year degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field
• 4 Year Degree or equivalent work experience.
• Prior experience as an Oracle Cloud Application System Administrator or similar role.
• 5 years of experience with Oracle Cloud Applications and at least 1 full Oracle Cloud Applications implementation cycle.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Ability to articulate technical issues to a non-technical audience.
• Ability to present effectively to an audience of individuals up and down the organization structure.

Requirements :

Proven Track Record in Application Administration and Security Management :

Demonstrate a proven track record in application administration and security management, showcasing successful experiences in user setup, access control, and security compliance.

Familiarity with SOX Compliance :

• Have familiarity with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance requirements and experience in maintaining security measures for public companies.
• Ensure that security practices align with SOX standards and contribute to a secure and compliant organizational environment.

Strong Interpersonal Skills :

• Possess strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with business units and security teams.
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand their needs, communicate security measures, and ensure a secure and user-friendly access environment.

Technical Troubleshooting Skills :

• Demonstrate technical troubleshooting skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve application-related issues promptly.
• Collaborate with IT and security teams to implement solutions that address technical challenges and maintain the integrity of application security.

Oracle Security Expertise :

Exhibit expertise in Oracle security, with knowledge of Oracle Database Security features and the ability to implement security measures specific to Oracle applications.

Timely Support for Application-Related Issues :

• Exhibit the ability to provide timely support for application-related issues, minimizing downtime and ensuring continuous application availability.
• Implement measures to proactively address potential issues and enhance the overall reliability of application access.

Compensation :

$ 65 / hr to $ 75 / hr.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.

Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and / or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
