Gotham is looking to hire a Project Management Associate to report directly to our Vice President of Facilities. The associate would administer and organize projects from initiation to completion.

To succeed in this role, you should have excellent time management and communication skills, as you will collaborate with internal departments and external vendors to deliver results on deadlines and meet quality standards.

Job Responsibilities includes but are not limited to :

  • Prepare bid packages; collect and level bids, conduct vendor walkthroughs, track follow-ups
  • Answer RFIs
  • Prepare contract documents in accordance with company guidelines
  • Oversee the installation process in apartments and amenity spaces, ensuring all work is carried out safely, efficiently, and in compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Track project progress (change orders, completion percentage, spend percentage, total costs)
  • Perform punchlist inspections
  • Conduct regular inspections and quality checks the contractors work meet the pre-established standards and specifications.
  • Track performance metrics across portfolio
  • Prepare project and portfolio level reporting
  • Assist with the annual budgeting process
  • Conduct due diligence inspections as needed
  • Monitor building code violations and oversee corrections
  • Track compliance with various regulatory compliance requirements
  • Coordinate with external contractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
  • Proactively identify and resolve any project-related issues, working closely with stakeholders to find practical solutions.
  • Ensure effective communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams, both internally and externally
  • Track service contract dates and monitor expirations
  • Track contractor insurance coverage and monitor expirations

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 2+ years of relevant experience, related to project or construction management, preferably in NYC
  • Attention to detail and ability to learn quickly
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple projects at once
