Event Lead

Full-Time (30-40 hrs / week)

West Allis, WI

Position Details

What we expect from you in this position :

• Lead all event coordination and execution for full-service events and weddings.
• Provide hands-on support at off-site catering events, including set-up and take-down.
• Work as the point of contact for all vendors participating in events, as well as the clients and guests.
• Manage the storage and organization of all event equipment.
• Train and oversee event staff, including briefing staff on event schedule, venue logistics, and client special needs.
• Maintain high-quality standards as it pertains to client service, food presentation, safety, and health standards.
• Work with the Sales Manager to debrief after events and create a process to close out all clients post-event.
• Assist with other duties as necessary or assigned to ensure company, team, and event success.
• Most importantly, we expect you to show up for yourself, your team, and our clients.

• $18-$20 / hour plus tips that average around $4,000 between May and October

The right candidate for this role will have 2 or more years of experience working in the catering and events industry, is detailed-oriented, and has excellent communication and customer service skills.

The ability to work with a team at off-site catering events is essential. This position is full-time and requires working nights and weekends, mainly at off-site catering events in the Greater Milwaukee area.

This position reports to the Scheduling Manager and works alongside chefs at Events. As well as attend Tuesday and Thursday meetings, and work weekday events.

Essential Job Duties :

• Valid Driver's License
• Minimum of 2 years experience in hospitality (Required)
• Minimum of 2 years management (Preferred)
• Reliable Transportation to and from work
• Use industrial cleaning chemicals
• Grip objects and tools (including wet or slippery items); utilize fine motor skills
• Lift up to 25 lbs
