Job Description

Chipping Operator : (Must be open to all shifts)

• Operate mill gun to sand and deburr metal parts
• Sand and grind edges of aerospace blades and wheels
• Perform visual inspections of aerospace parts
• Operate hand and power tools
• Utilize hand cranes to move parts into the work area

Job Type

This is a permanent position.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Cleveland, Ohio.

Work Environment

This department inspects finished forged metals for the aerospace industry. It will be hot in the summer and cold in the winter.

It is a heavy industrial manufacturing environment with metals weighing anywhere from 20 - 350 lbs. There will be no physical lifting requirements as all metals are moved via crane or automated robot.

Inspectors will have assigned work stations but will move around to perform different quality testing.
