Counter Server Base Wage + Tips about $14-$19 / hour : As a counter server, you'll earn a $11 / hour base wage. Your tips will be paid out at the end of your shift, and typically average $3-$8 / hour, depending on shift and location.

We also add $1 / hour for any time worked after 11pm and and time worked on Sundays.

Counter Server Duties

You're the customer service captain! You'll be saying hi to customers, making salads, tossing pizzas into the finishing ovens, and running the cash register.

Plus, you'll be the phone master, taking orders and making sure everything's set for pick-up or delivery.

• Be able to stand and walk for long periods.
• Be able to bend, crouch, and lift 20-50 lbs.
• Be able to use ovens, pizza cutters, and other related equipment.
• English language proficiency is required for this position.
• Must be 18+ to apply. If you are 16 or 17 years old, you can apply for the Front of House at our Story Hill location or for a Seasonal Summer Catering position.

All other positions / locations require you to be 18+ years of age.

Must be authorized to work in the United States and able to provide adequate identification documentation at Orientation and / or Day One.

Counter Server Scheduling

9-5 is a Dolly Parton song, not a job at Ian's! Opening shifts typically start 1-2 hours before opening time, and closing shifts typically end 1-2 hours after closing time.

Most people work a mix of shifts (open, mids, dinner, closing). For more hours information, please check out our website at ianspizza.

Our restaurants are most busy on evenings and weekends, so availability for these shifts is strongly preferred. If you are looking for full-time hours, your availability should be mostly open and flexible.

Part-time (anywhere in the 15-30 hours a week range) or full-time (30-40 hours a week) is available. We'll try our hardest to give you the hours and shifts you want, but we can't promise the same schedule every week.

For full-timers though, we'll make sure you average 30-40 hours each week to ensure your health and dental benefits eligibility.
