Piramal Critical Care, is a business division of Piramal Pharma Limited (PPL) is one of the leaders in inhaled anesthetics and a global player in hospital generics.
We are seeking an experienced Strategic Account Manager to join our team in Florida Region. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of key hospital and IDN accounts, driving product sales, and building strong relationships with decision-makers.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Manage a full-cycle sales process, including creative lead generation, prospecting, discovery, presentations, contract negotiations, and closings with hospitals and IDNs within the assigned territory.
- Call on hospitals within the assigned territory to make sales presentations to multiple decision-makers, driving product sales.
- Support National Accounts and Director, National Accounts in contract negotiations to obtain terms and conditions that support both client and PCC objectives.
- Lead wholesaler / distributor relationships / negotiations at the field level and in conjunction with client expectations.
- Identify sales strategies to ensure effective compliance to budget target requirements.
- Strategize the territory's priorities with respect to account engagement and revenue expectations.
- Work with Director National Accounts and other departments to respond to contracts, RFPs, etc.
- Engage clients via direct selling, in-services, trade shows, etc.
- Provide expertise to customers / clients and internal partners on both a clinical and technical level.
Requirements :
- Bachelor's Degree with 2 years of experience selling to hospitals and health systems, specifically in the C-suite and physician leadership.
- Good knowledge of pharmaceutical or anesthesia or device industry.
- Clinical and industry understanding of GPO, IDNs, and the acute / non-acute environment.
- Knowledge and expertise in specific elements of contract negotiations to obtain terms and conditions that support both client and PCC objectives.
- Ability to apply expertise, knowledge, and experience to help solve external client issues, as well as internal cross-functional issues as they relate to field-based sales.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Experience with salesforce.com or other CRM systems.
- Strong understanding of hospital operations and healthcare trends.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
