About our position
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Sales Support Manager to oversee our sales support team and to enhance sales operations for our software solutions, including iMIS, OpenWater, TopClass, and Clowder.
In this role, you will lead the team to deliver product demos, respond to RFPs, conduct seminars and webinars, and provide expert insights to support our sales efforts.
What you’ll be doing
- Leading and managing the sales support team, ensuring team members are motivated, well-trained, and equipped to deliver exceptional support to our sales operations.
- Integrating and optimizing sales support functions by leveraging tools and relevant technologies to improve service delivery, drive continuous improvement and efficiency, and demonstrate the value of our integrated product offerings.
- Evaluating opportunities to extend the sales support model to and through our partner channel using innovative technologies that facilitate talent pooling and just-in-time service delivery.
- Leading and iterating new sales support delivery models, including self-service approaches.
- Acting as a strong voice to gather and share customer feedback with the product development organization and use this feedback as a valuable input into the development and enhancement of our products.
- Defining and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) for the sales support team to measure their impact and ensure continuous improvement.
- Collaborating closely with the sales, marketing, and product development teams to align strategies and deliver a seamless customer experience.
- Developing and maintaining documentation, training materials, and best practices to support the sales support team's functions and ensure consistent service delivery.
- Collaborating with iMIS solutions providers to help expand their sales engineer teams and provide a consistent message on all ASH products and approaches.
- Performing other job-related duties and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time.
What we want you to have
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or similar relevant field or relevant experience.
- 7+ years of experience in sales support or related roles, with a strong background in managing and leading teams.
- Proven track record of integrating technology and tools to improve sales support services.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent sales and customer service skills with proven negotiation skills.
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and related software.
