We are in search of a Customer Service Representative to join our team in Merced, California. This role primarily involves handling customer inquiries and complaints, maintaining up-to-date customer records, and processing payments.
This is a short-term contract employment opportunity that provides a stimulating work environment in the industry.
Responsibilities :
- Address customer inquiries and complaints through phone, email, and chat
- Maintain and update customer account information regularly
- Process customer payments efficiently
- Handle cash transactions as required
- Welcome and assist guests in a professional manner
- Perform data entry tasks to update customer records
- Manage heavy multi-line phone systems effectively
- Utilize Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word for various tasks
- Handle order entries and schedule appointments as per customer requirements
- Ensure efficient handling of both inbound and outbound calls.
- Must have a minimum of 1 year of experience in a customer service role
- Proficiency in answering inbound calls and managing inbound / outbound calls
- Experience in a call center customer service environment
- Strong skills in data entry and order entry
- Ability to handle email correspondence professionally and efficiently
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
- Experience in scheduling appointments
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and manage customer complaints effectively
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Willingness to work in a team and contribute to team goals
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of customer service principles and practices.
