Responsibilities Work in Labor & Delivery, LDRP, and Nursery settings Care for patients including Labor and Delivery, Antepartum, Gynecological, Gestational Hypertension, Diabetes Mellitus, and Multi-Birth Involvement in procedures such as circumcisions, hearing screens, newborn screens, general admissions, C-sections, and labor inductions Level 2 nursery with average 140-160 deliveries per month Night shifts available (7 : 00 pm – 7 : 00 am) with options for 3x12 or 4x12 hour shifts Required to work one Friday, one Saturday, and one Sunday shift in each 4-week schedule No call requirements Uses Epic EMR, experience preferred Team includes 1 charge nurse, 6-7 nurses, and 1 scrub nurse per shift, with adjustments based on census Provide comprehensive nursing care to mothers and newborns throughout labor, delivery, and recovery Perform newborn screenings and assist with patient admissions and C-sections Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team with physicians in-house part-time and on-call otherwise First-time travelers are accepted No restrictions for local candidates other than radius Requirements Active IL RN license required Minimum of 2 years recent Labor & Delivery experience Current BCLS and NRP certifications required Level 2 nursery and circulating, scrubbing, and triage experience preferred Epic EMR experience preferred Two professional references from supervisors within the past 2 years required Must live outside a 70-mile radius Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-618957.
