Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Restoration Billing Agent to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and submitting invoices to insurance companies, ensuring accurate and timely billing.
The ideal candidate will have experience in restoration billing, strong organizational skills, and a keen eye for detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and submit invoices to insurance companies for restoration services rendered.
- Review and verify accuracy of billing information and documentation.
- Follow up on unpaid or disputed claims and work to resolve any billing issues.
- Communicate with insurance adjusters and clients to obtain necessary information and documentation.
- Maintain detailed records of all billing activities and correspondence.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Assist with other billing and administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in billing, preferably in the restoration industry.
- Familiarity with insurance billing processes and requirements.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficient in using billing software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in billing or accounting is a plus.
