Requisition Summary
As a member of the PACCAR Parts Fleet Services program, the Fleet Sales Manager is responsible for growing parts and service sales to Canadian-based national account fleets.
Responsibilities include identifying key account opportunities, establishing relationships with fleet management, training dealer personnel on national account program benefits and collaborating with PACCAR truck divisions, PACCAR Parts personnel and industry suppliers.
This position will be based in the Mississauga, Ontario area.
Job Functions / Responsibilities
- Work closely with fleet directors and procurement managers to establish program parameters, negotiate parts pricing and support fleet uptime initiatives.
- Drive sales growth through customer and dealer visits, promoting parts sales, programs, systems and marketing plans.
- Develop a close working relationship with dealer parts and service teams to accomplish parts sales goals and dealer program participation, while maintaining network consistency.
- Work with dealer principals and dealer management to serve as a consultant to dealers' parts and service business growth and profitability.
- Assist dealer personnel in identifying and developing key accounts.
- Facilitate inter-departmental communication with PACCAR Parts marketing to enhance fleet-specific programs.
- Up to 65% travel required.
- Other projects as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required (MBA preferred)
- 7+ years of industry experience, with a thorough understanding of heavy-duty trucks, truck dealers, suppliers and fleets.
- Experience in retail marketing and / or sales required.
- Heavy-duty truck or parts sales experience preferred.
- Excellent computer skills, including complete Microsoft Office suite of applications
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, including group presentation skills
- Supplier and fleet negotiation skills required
- Proven self-starter, takes initiative, high level of creativity
- Positive attitude, ability to overcome multiple challenges while maintaining focus on stated goals
- Proven analytical skills required to track progress and identify opportunities to grow business strategically
- Ability to travel 65%
- French language proficiency preferred
