Responsibilities

Provide daily coordination of equipment, supplies and personnel to ensure optimal patient care outcomes.

Organize and evaluate the work of assigned anesthesia service associates.

Provide oversight of daily equipment maintenance and troubleshoot malfunctions.

Assist with the training and scheduling of staff.

Coordinate and / or perform administrative duties specific to the unit including billing processing, scheduling, ordering supplies and responding to external inquiries.

Assist the department manager with payroll, scheduling, education of department staff, budget and other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Licensure / Certification / Registration :

BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Anesthesia Tech credentialed from the American Society of Anesthesia Technicians / Technologists (ASATT) preferred.

Education :

High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree / Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

Additional Preferences

Anesthesia Tech credentialed from the American Society of Anesthesia Technicians / Technologists (ASATT) strongly preferred.

Anesthesia Tech experience strongly preferred.
