Job Description :

We are seeking a skilled HANA Developer with extensive HANA Modelling experience to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining HANA models and ensuring the optimal performance of our SAP HANA database solutions.

This role requires a deep understanding of SAP HANA architecture and strong analytical skills to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

1. HANA Development and Modelling :

• Design, develop, and implement SAP HANA models (Attribute Views, Analytical Views, Calculation Views) to meet business requirements.
• Create complex SQL scripts, procedures, and functions to support data modeling and reporting needs.
• Optimize HANA models and database performance, including indexing, partitioning, and query optimization.

2. Data Integration and ETL :

• Develop and manage ETL processes to load data from various sources into SAP HANA using tools like SAP Data Services, SLT, and SDI.
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity throughout the data integration process.

3. Collaboration and Requirement Gathering :

• Work closely with business analysts, data scientists, and stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements.
• Translate business needs into technical specifications and develop corresponding HANA models.

4. Performance Tuning and Optimization :

• Monitor and troubleshoot performance issues related to HANA models and database queries.
• Implement best practices for HANA performance tuning and optimization.

5. Testing and Validation :

• Conduct unit testing and support integration and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure the quality and functionality of HANA models.
• Debug and resolve issues identified during testing phases.

6. Documentation and Reporting :

• Document data models, design specifications, and ETL processes.
• Generate reports and dashboards to provide insights and support decision making processes.

7. Maintenance and Support :

• Provide ongoing maintenance and support for existing HANA models and solutions.
• Ensure system stability and data consistency by performing regular health checks and updates.

8. Continuous Improvement :

• Stay updated with the latest SAP HANA features, tools, and best practices.
• Propose and implement enhancements to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of HANA solutions.

Qualifications : Education :

Education :

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience :

• Proven experience as an SAP HANA Developer, with a strong focus on HANA modeling.
• Handson experience with HANA Studio, Web IDE, and other HANA development tools.

Technical Skills :

• Proficiency in designing and developing Attribute Views, Analytical Views, and Calculation Views.
• Strong SQL scripting skills and experience with SQL based data manipulation.
• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and experience with ETL tools like SAP Data Services, SLT, and SDI.
• Familiarity with SAP BW on HANA, SAP S / 4HANA, and other SAP modules is a plus.

Analytical Skills :

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to understand complex business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Communication Skills :

Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with business and technical stakeholders.

Certifications :

• Relevant SAP HANA certifications are preferred.
