This is an onsite position, temp-hire, pay is based on experience starting at $21 / hr

What’s a typical day as an Accounting Clerk? You’ll be :

  • Preparing and posting accounting documents manually or by computer, such as fees, receipts, invoices, requisitions, and related operating reports
  • Posting receipts, invoices, and disbursement information to appropriate ledgers and journals
  • Preparing and mailing bills and invoices, and reviewing outstanding accounts payable and receivable
  • Handling all AP calls from vendors and managing problem calls
  • Assisting with check reconciliation and entering monthly information into Excel
  • Making AR collection calls and maintaining all AR files
  • Performing a variety of complex clerical and entry-level bookkeeping and accounting tasks
  • Applying accepted procedures to the preparation and maintenance of accounting and other records
  • Interfacing with vendors, management, purchasing, production control, and sales This job might be an outstanding fit if you :
  • Have an Associate's degree (required); Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Possess bookkeeping experience
  • Have excellent communication skills and the ability to handle pressure
