CNC OPERATOR
Automation Personnel Services is looking for a CNC Operator for a company based in Suwanee , Georgia . In this role, you will have the opportunity to grow with a team of experienced operators in a nationwide company operat ing and maintain ing CNC machines, ensuring precise production of parts according to specifications.
Pay Rate
$19 50 Per Hour
Schedule and Hours
Monday through Friday 11 00 PM t o 7 00 AM TRAINING ON FIRST SHIFT REQUIRED
CNC Operator Duties and Responsibilities
- Machine Operation & Setup : Operate, set up, and calibrate CNC machines to ensure accurate and precise cuts according to engineering specifications.
- Quality Control : Inspect and measure finished products to verify they meet quality standards, making necessary adjustments to maintain high precision.
- Troubleshooting & Maintenance : Identify and resolve issues with CNC equipment, performing routine maintenance to prevent downtime and ensure optimal performance.
- Safety & Compliance : Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations, maintaining a clean and organized work environment to prevent accidents and ensure compliance.
- Material Handling : Manage the loading, alignment, and secure positioning of materials on the CNC cutting machine to ensure accurate and efficient production.
CNC Operator Qualifications and Requirements
- Prior experience operating CNC machines or similar CNC machinery in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications; ability to program and set up CNC machines.
- Strong focus on precision and quality, with the ability to perform accurate measurements and inspections of finished parts.
- Skills in identifying and resolving issues with CNC equipment, including performing routine maintenance and adjustments.
- A high school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in machining or a related field is often preferred.
