ROLE OVERVIEW :

As our Art Director, you'll collaborate closely with the Creative Director to shape the vision and craft the narrative that brings the magic of each event to life.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Conceptualize the creative direction and visual development of all aspects of an event.
• Collaborate with producers, vendors, clients, and the creative team to conceptualize and execute innovative design solutions.
• Oversee the design process from concept to completion, ensuring all visual elements align with the event's theme and goals.
• Inspire and mentor other designers on the team, fostering a collaborative and energetic work environment.
• Stay ahead of industry trends and bring fresh, cutting-edge ideas to every project.
• Collaborate with the Creative Director to strategize, develop, and deliver proposals to acquire new clients.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a high level of creativity and attention to detail.
• Work closely with production teams to ensure design concepts are brought to life within budget and on time.
• Oversee the creative direction and execution of creative assets on the event showsite. This role does require travel, generally involving 4-5 out of state events annually and an additional 4-5 local events.
• Approach being on show site with a positive mindset. Given the potential for high stress levels and the likelihood of early mornings or late nights during an event, it is essential to maintain composure and professionalism, while also being prepared to assist in other areas ensuring the success of our team.

Qualifications :

• Proven experience as an Art Director or senior role, ideally within event production, advertising, or a related creative field.
• Strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of your design work, including large and small format print design, branding, and digital media.

Web design is a huge plus.

• Highly proficient in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and 3D rendering tools.
• Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide a creative team.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey ideas and engage clients and stakeholders through storytelling.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment while maintaining a positive and collaborative attitude.
• A passion for creativity and a relentless drive to push the boundaries of what’s possible.
