We are searching for a dedicated and driven Hands on Maintenance Coordinator for growing Property Management Company that serves Nassau and Suffolk Counties.

The Maintenance Coordinator is responsible for managing the business' maintenance division. The Maintenance Coordinator must be well versed in vendor and client relations and adhere to time schedules.

Must have basic computer knowledge and all home systems knowledge including, plumbing, heating, roofing, painting, cleaning, windows, appliances etc, This position will be responsible for timely and complete work to the standards of the Real Property Management organization.

Must have reliable vehicle and basic tools for maintenance, company will pay for Fuel.

Responsibilities

• Manage maintenance process
• Assign work orders, schedule all maintenance actions and inspections
• Provide excellent customer service to property owners and tenants.
• Follow up on work orders, completed work, owner approvals, etc.
• Manage referrals across departments
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Experienced in maintenance or suitable experience in residential repairs
• Customer Service experience
• Ability to prepare, write and communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and staff
• Ability to schedule and estimate workers hours and requirements to complete tasks
• 3 to 5 years General residential maintenance and repair knowledge
• Local area knowledge
• Knowledge of the Internet and email
• Exceptional customer service ability
• Organized and high attention to detail
