Chief Financial Officer - Logistics

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead the company’s financial planning and decision-making processes.
• Develop and execute investment strategies, with a focus on cash flow and liquidity management.
• Oversee fundraising efforts and manage the capital structure to ensure sustainable growth.
• Supervise finance personnel, including controllers and treasurers, while fostering a culture of excellence.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key vendors and external stakeholders.
• Deliver accurate financial forecasts and reports to guide executive decisions.
• Implement and oversee financial IT systems to support operational efficiency.
• Ensure full compliance with legal and regulatory financial requirements.
• Manage all accounting functions, including general ledger, accounts payable, and financial reporting.

Qualifications :

• Proven experience in senior financial leadership, ideally within the transportation or logistics sector.
• Expertise in financial laws, risk management, and strategic investment planning.
• Strong analytical skills and a history of using data-driven insights to drive business success.
• Proficiency in financial management software (e.g., SAP) and Microsoft Office.
• Exceptional leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to motivate teams and foster collaboration.
• Superior communication skills, with the ability to engage with all levels of the organization and external partners.
• Strategic thinker with a keen eye for profitability, liquidity, and long-term company value.

Education :

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) or equivalent is highly desirable.
• Professional certifications such as CPA or CFA are preferred.
• Industry experience in transportation or logistics is REQUIRED .

Experience :

• At least 10 years of experience in financial roles, with 5 years in a financial leadership capacity.
• Demonstrated success in driving profitability and financial growth.
• Experience presenting to boards of directors and engaging with shareholders.
