Forklift Operator : Beloit, WI
Our customer in Edgerton, Wisconsin is seeking motivated individuals to join their growing team. As a Forklift Operator you will contribute towards efficient production processes by promptly delivering and opening materials to maintain consistent levels of in-process inventory.
Responsibilities of the Forklift Operator :
- Position the materials back in their respective stocks
- Organize the shipment of finished goods by marking, loading, and securing the articles accordingly
- Accurately document the quantity of products and note count on the pallet sheets
- Conduct thorough checks on material-handling equipment and complete any required repairs
- Maintain and operate material handling tools such as forklifts, hand trucks, and pallet jacks with expertise.
- Utilize RF scanning devices to efficiently manage inventory levels
- Properly palletize finished goods
- Complete other duties as needed
Forklift Operator Requirements and Qualifications :
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- 3-6 months previous experience in material handling or inventory management preferred
- Proficient in operating CB radio and with strong capabilities in verbal communication.
- Strong critical thinking and analytical skills
- Excellent multitasking abilities with proficient time management and organizational skills
- Strong English language skills, particularly in reading, writing, and speaking
- Essential quantitative proficiencies for adding up and weighing things.
Pay for Forklift Operator : Starting at $20 / hour.
