About the Role
Our Casualty Practice is looking for an Account Representative to join their collaborative and industrious account service team.
The Casualty Practice provides risk management and consulting services to Technology, Life Science, Manufacturing, and other Commercial organizations, enabling them to understand their exposures and mitigate their losses.
Your primary responsibility will be to support the book of business and account team in developing strong relationships with clients and carriers.
You will play a crucial role in handling day-to-day client inquiries, analyzing client information, and assisting in the management and transfer of risk.
What You'll Do
- Support the book of business and account team efforts of developing relationships with clients and carriers
- Analyze client information and help clients understand, manage, and transfer risk from Account Managers
- Respond to daily client inquiries and requests, ensuring exceptional client service
- Prepare materials for client information requests, carrier submissions, proposals, and presentations
- Review contracts and issue certificates of insurance for clients
- Contribute to client presentations, renewal marketing, and the process of planning for the future.
- Update and maintain account specifications within our agency management system
- Coordinate the distribution of key insurance documents to clients, ensuring timeliness and accuracy
- Collaborate with accounting to resolve client billing issues
- Learn how to successfully manage a book of business from Account Managers

Experience & Qualifications
- Minimum of two years of industry experience (broker or carrier side) preferred
- Desire to learn and be part of something special
- Exceptional communication skills - oral, written, phone, and interpersonal skills with the ability to develop and build client and internal relationships
- Strong analytical, organization, and time management skills
- Strong collaboration skills
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint required
- High school diploma or equivalent experience required, college degree preferred
- Required to obtain the applicable insurance license(s) within 90 days of date of hire

More About Us
Compensation : Anticipated salary between $51,000 - $85,000. Salary offered will be dependent upon geography, experience, and expertise of the candidate.
This position is eligible to participate in an incentive program to earn additional compensation with a target equivalent to 8% of salary annually, based on individual and Company performance.
