Work hours : 8 : 00am to 5 : 00pm Monday to Friday
Responsibilities :
- Filing claims accurately and in a timely manner
- Purchasing of inventoried parts, special ordered parts and equipment as needed for warranty claims.
- Follow up on quotes from Perts department, through calls, emails and invoices of service technicians.
- Issue PO’s and VC's
- Complete warranty returns for parts; equipment and labor as required, and in the allotted amount of time.
- Receive purchase orders and send packing slips to Accounting
- Ensure PO and VC are processed properly and timely manner. (30 DAYS FROM DATE OF PICK UP)
- Inform Parts when parts need to be picked up at supplier
- Other task’s as assigned (This will change as our hit list is updated).
Performance Indicators : Certain key business indicators will measure the effectiveness of the
Parts Buyer / Field Estimator.
These include the following :
- Accuracy of paper work, hours & materials charged to jobs
- Number of will calls as a result of parts and equipment not being available when needed
- Number of open VC’s, PO’s. ( both dollar amount and ticket number are important)
- Claims successfully processed
