Job Description
What you will be doing :
- Static and UAS derived LiDAR data collection in bothinterior and exterior environments
- Assistingwith setting conventional survey control for static and UAS derivedLiDAR data collection efforts
- Processing ofstatic LiDAR data sets including point cloud registration QA / QCchecks to survey control and general preparation for dataextraction
- Processing of UAS derived imageryto orthophotography including QA / QC checks to survey control andgeneral preparation for data extraction
- Processing of UAS derived aerial LiDAR data setsincluding trajectory processing QA / QC checks to survey controlpoint cloud data classification and general preparation for dataextraction
- Data extraction fromorthophotography and point cloud data sets including 2D planimetricfeatures 3D topography and BIM modeling (including architecturalstructural and MEP elements)
- Reviewingassigned project files for necessary materials and information tocarry out project scope and drafting tasks.
- Providing thorough analysis of field notes legaldescriptions title easements design plans utility plans andconstruction layout notes.
- Developing anunderstanding of surveying concepts our company business and howsurveying is integrated into plans and projects TransportationPlats Condominium Plats Subdivision Plats legal descriptions andother survey exhibits.
- Developing anunderstanding of surveying concepts our company business and howsurveying is integrated into plans and projects.
Experience you willneed :
- An Associates Degree in arelated field or a Bachelor’s Degree in Surveying from aU.S. accredited college or university and is preferred
- 5 years of experience
- Knowledge ofstatic and aerial LiDAR data collection processing and dataextraction preferred
- Knowledge of basicsurveying methods practices and techniques preferred
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Officeproducts is expected
- Proficiency inMicroStation TopoDOT Leica Cyclone REGISTER 360 PLUS (or similar)Pix4Dmapper (or similar) and Revit (or similar) ispreferred
- Attention to detail andselfinitiative
- Strong organizationalskills
- Some travel required
- Applicable U.S. based work experience
