Job Description and Duties

The Employment Development Department (EDD), Document Management Division is searching for a motivated, skilled, and challenge-seeking individual with excellent customer service and attention to detail skills who is innovative and interested in working with an exciting team of professionals in a fast-paced environment.

Under the general direction of the Staff Services Manager I, the incumbent is responsible for performing receptionist and attendance clerk duties, maintaining and managing data collection systems, providing clerical support, scheduling interviews and assisting with documentation, providing backup support for Operations Support Assistant, maintaining and updating documentation and references.

The incumbent must be able to consistently exercise a high degree of discretion and initiative to deal effectively with all levels of staff and management and use sound judgment concerning issues that require management review.
