Medical Front Desk
United Talent is currently hiring for medical front desk clerk in the Charleston, WV location.Job Duties include :
- Greet and register patients
- Explain payment policy and insurance coverage prior to registration
- Obtain insurance
- Make and verify appointments
- Send out new patient packets
- Process daily summary of payments, charges, balances, and claim edits
- Handling telephone calls to other facilities
- Responsible for making deposits for daily transactions
- Assist in office operations
- Open mail and route to appropriate personnel
- Process all medical record requests with appropriate documentation and completion
- Cross train across various practices and / or departments as needed
Pay and Shift : Full Time, Monday through Friday, Dayshift, pay is based upon experience Requirements :
- High-school diploma or GED
- 6 months related experience
- Obtain and interpret information in terms of patient needs
- Understanding the range of treatment needed by the patients
