The Ochsner Health Talent Attraction team is looking for a seasoned marketing leader to join our ranks. This team creates successful marketing strategies to generate applications and deliver pipeline results for priority roles while optimizing performance over time against a clear set of performance goals.

This role will lead a team of individuals who are responsible for the development and execution of system wide recruitment marketing strategies.

The manager will emphasize and clarify role responsibility amongst team members as well as give focus to individual development and performance of direct reports.

  • As a Recruitment Marketing & Employment Brand manager, you will partner with regional, departmental, and service line leaders, vendors, and business partners to drive strategic research and data-driven candidate attraction actions.
  • To be successful in this role you will need to both see the big picture and be able to execute rapidly with changing hiring needs.
  • The ideal candidate will create, develop and oversee employment brand strategy and its execution.
  • The manager will utilize marketing savvy to articulate differentiated employment positioning, leveraging brand guidelines and value propositions to tailor campaigns for diverse markets.
  • The marketing manager will need to conduct consistent research and utilize market data to assess channel effectiveness, prioritize based on business requirements, and develop an effective marketing mix to achieve application goals.
  • The marketing manager will focus on continually improving the candidate journey and experience from the first interaction / introduction between Ochsner Health and the jobseeker.

The marketing manager will partner daily with Talent Sourcing and Talent Outreach managers and reports directly to the Assistant Vice President of Talent Attraction.

Education

Required - Bachelor's degree

Preferred- Marketing, Arts, or Communications

Work Experience

Required - 5 years related experience in digital editorial and content management, including 2 years healthcare writing, communications and marketing experience.

  • Technology proficiencies : proficient in both MAC and PC environments, understanding of the Internet, intranets, and computer-based databases;
  • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); advanced understanding of online publishing design and content management systems;
  • understanding of email management systems; understanding of social media tools; understanding of the use of digital video and photography devices;

working knowledge of Photoshop

Experience with digital e-zines, mobile, social media and other content channels

Preferred-

  • At least 2 years of direct Talent Acquisition experience.
  • At least 4 years of previous experience managing or leading teams.
  • Working knowledge of ATS and CRM platforms including Avature and Workday
  • Previous experience working with programmatic platforms
  • Previous agency experience preferred

Knowledge Skills and Abilities (KSAs)

  • Must have computer skills and dexterity required for data entry and retrieval of patient information.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to present information clearly and professionally to varying levels of individuals throughout the patient care process.
  • Must be proficient with Windows-style applications, various software packages specific to role and keyboard
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • High degree of accuracy and dependability, research and analytical skills
  • Good interpersonal and consultative skills

Job Duties

  • Manages content development and strategy for Ochsner.org / careers
  • Works with management, physicians, leadership and support functions and develops key recruitment marketing strategies that support the organization's mission, vision, strategy, three-year plan, HR policies and support functions.
  • Manages existing marketing / recruitment channels, modifies them as needed and develops new platforms to ensure effective, efficient delivery of messaging and develops strategic analytics structure for internal and external sites.
  • Develops editorial content, ensures its accuracy, obtains approvals and publishes to appropriate channels.
  • Works with System Marketing, public relations and internal communications to develop strategic workflow processes.

Manages performance and development of recruitment marketing team members

Mechanical lifting devices (carts, dollies, etc.) or team lifts should be utilized.

Must be able to travel throughout and between facilities.

Must be able to sit for prolonged periods of time.
