Job Overview :

We are seeking a highly skilled GCP Cloud Engineer with expertise in GoLang to join our team in Issaquah, WA. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in developing and deploying highly available multi-cloud services and a product-oriented engineering mindset .

You will leverage modern engineering principles to deliver custom-built solutions and work with advanced cloud technologies, microservices, DevOps, and CI / CD practices.

Key Responsibilities :

• Cloud Architecture & Development : Design, develop, and deploy scalable microservices and accelerators in a GCP environment .
• GoLang Programming : Build microservices and monolithic architectures using GoLang , with a strong understanding of Go standard libraries, concurrent programming , and performance optimization.
• Microservices Development : Develop and manage microservices architectures with strong proficiency in RESTful APIs, gRPC , and container platforms like Kubernetes and OpenShift .
• DevOps & CI / CD : Implement DevOps practices including automated deployment pipelines (CI / CD) for managing cloud-based applications.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC) : Leverage Infrastructure as Code practices to ensure the security and scalability of cloud environments.
• Cloud Migration : Lead the migration of heterogeneous compute workloads to container platforms and manage multi-cloud environments .
• Collaboration : Work with Information Security teams to ensure compliance with security metrics and best practices.
• Troubleshooting : Identify and resolve complex cloud issues, ensuring the highest availability and performance for cloud services.
• Stakeholder Management : Manage multiple work streams and coordinate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Must-Have Skills :

• 10+ years of experience developing and deploying multi-cloud services and applications .
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with GCP (Google Cloud Platform) .
• 6+ years of experience developing microservices in cloud environments.
• 6+ years of experience with DevOps and CI / CD practices .
• 4+ years of experience with GoLang , including its common development frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
• Expertise in concurrent programming in Go, including Go routines , channels, and sync packages.
• Experience with container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes and OpenShift.

Preferred Skills :

• Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) , Reference Architectures , and Landing Zones .
• Knowledge of networking and DNS concepts in cloud environments.
• Experience with code and IaC scans to secure environments.
• Iterative product development skills and experience delivering custom-built solutions.
• Experience working in a multi-public cloud environment, including the use of cloud-native tools and technologies .

Technical Expertise :

• Strong troubleshooting skills for resolving complex cloud issues.
• Ability to manage multiple work streams and meet stakeholder expectations effectively.
• Collaboration with Information Security teams to ensure adherence to security compliance and OKRs (Objectives and Key Results).
