Job Title : Director of Project and Client Management

Type of Employment : Full-Time

Location : Chicago, IL

Compensation : $90,000 plus bonus

About the job : Director of Project and Client Management will supervise the client management team, own all new client project implementation, work closely with our operations center, IT team, quality team, accounting department, and company leadership to ensure that all project requirements, deadlines, and schedules are on track and that we deliver our quality commitment.

Responsibilities include ensuring that all projects meet performance metrics, and quality and regulatory requirements.

To be successful in this role you will need to have proven experience in project management, be able to effectively communicate with the team in a timely manner, and have the ability to lead project teams of various sizes without having direct supervisory responsibility for all aspects of the team, plus understand the commitment it takes to effectively and successfully work remotely.

Project Manager Lead Responsibilities :

  • Develop project plans using Microsoft 365 Project software or similar software.
  • Analyze and summarize relevant project performance data in words, charts, and spreadsheets. Address project shortcomings with the operations team.
  • Review engagement reports with clients.
  • Prioritize tasks to ensure timely execution of the project from start to finish.
  • Communicate with stakeholders on project status by highlighting the tasks involved including both good and bad news.
  • Coordinate with call center team leaders to make sure that all parties are on track with project requirements, deadlines, and schedules.
  • Meet with internal and external project team members to identify and resolve issues.
  • Establish effective project communication plans and ensure their execution.
  • Conduct post-project evaluation and identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.

Project Manager Requirements :

  • A bachelor’s degree or master’s degree or relative experience in a related field.
  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certification.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
  • Proven experience in project management.
  • Previous experience as a manager of people.
  • Ability to lead project teams of various sizes and see them through to completion.
  • Strong understanding of formal project management methodologies.
  • Able to complete projects in a timely manner. MS Excel proficiency.
  • Microsoft 365 Project Management software expertise or similar software.
  • Proficient business writing skills
