Azure Cloud Infrastructure Engineer
Description :
We are seeking an experienced Mid Level Cloud Solutions Architect with a focus on Azure to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in implementing and troubleshooting highly available and scalable cloud solutions, along with excellent communication skills.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :
- Azure Expertise : Experience with Azure cloud services and enterprise-selected tools.
- High Availability (HA) : Experience in implementing HA and scalable solutions in both public and private cloud environments.
- Software Development Practices : Familiarity with contemporary software development practices and supporting tools.
- Automation and Orchestration : Proficiency with tools such as Terraform, Chef, Tanzu, vRealize Automation, Aria, or similar cloud-agnostic platforms.
- Network Delivery Architectures : Experience with NSX, IP Fabric, and dedicated cloud connections like Direct Connect and Express Route.
- Modern Architectures : Understanding of micro-services and container-based architectures.
- Authentication Mechanisms : Working knowledge of cloud-native authentication mechanisms (OAuth, OpenID, etc.).
- Customer Communication : Ability to explain cloud-based vs. on-premises solutions to customers.
- Organizational Skills : Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Problem-Solving : Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with a focus on IT infrastructure.
Communication :
- Create clear and concise documentation for various audiences, including developers, business analysts, and business users.
- Utilize a blend of written communication techniques, including detailed documentation, diagramming, and slide presentations.
- Proactively initiate communication among teams, including remote members.
- Deliver presentations on domain topics to internal groups.
Teamwork :
- Lead by example and support development teams to create success opportunities and foster future self-sufficiency.
- Manage priorities and individual tasks without direct supervision.
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with leadership, peers, customers, and vendors.
- Resolve problem relationships directly.
Customer Service :
- Provide professional service to both external and internal customers.
- Take ownership and accountability of problems and facilitate solutions, involving other groups as necessary.
