Financial Reporting Analyst at a healthy, growing financial services firm in Colorado Springs. Position sits in office. Will join a strong team and work closely with C level executives.

Direct hire, $50K - $60K DOE + benefits package + paid overtime when worked.

Financial Reporting Analyst Details :
- Direct Hire position
- $50, to $60, / annually
- First Shift (Monday through Friday from 08 : 00am to 05 : 00pm)
- Design and execute processes to ensure the comprehensive delivery of complex financial and regulatory reports.
- Utilize and apply in-depth knowledge of industry standards relevant to financial statements.
- Employ critical thinking to analyze and interpret financial outcomes, regulatory data, and their interconnections with business and financial statements, providing proactive insights and detailed analyses to support informed decision-making in financial and regulatory reporting.
- Compile and evaluate intricate financial and regulatory documents, including audited statements and supporting schedules.
- Engage regularly with management, regulatory bodies, and business partners (, internal and external audit, compliance, legal) to facilitate necessary discussions and actions.
- Track, evaluate, and interpret new and forthcoming changes in financial reporting standards to assess organizational impacts.
- Act as an advisor to management and a trusted resource for team members, also serving as a mentor to peers.
- Organize and prioritize the upkeep of processes, procedures, tools, and resources.
- Cross-functional collaboration with other departments.
- Ad hoc reporting requests.
- Other duties, as assigned.
Financial Reporting Analyst Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Information Technology preferred (Associates degree + 2 years of experience may be substituted)
- 1-3 years of General Ledger experience helpful
- Excellent computer skills, working knowledge of MS Office products
- Advanced Excel skills highly preferred (Complex Formulas, Power Query, Macros, VBA, Pivot Tables, etc.)
- Coding experience preferred (SQL)
- Solid understanding of Accounting principles, procedures, and GAAP
- Experience preparing and delivering Call Reports preferred
- Experience preparing banking compliance reporting preferred
- Demonstrated problem solving prowess
- Works well in a very fast paced environment
- Must be comfortable working with large amounts of data.
