Enterprise Desktop Analyst

3-month contract

Location : Tampa, FL (hybrid onsite)

POSITION CONCEPT

Recommend, implement and support the corporate-wide desktop infrastructure and related systems. This position delivers information technology solutions in support of business processes and creates change in support of strategic technology goals while ensuring uninterrupted service of existing systems through problem resolution and central management in a client / server environment.

REQUIRED :

• Enterprise level Tier 3 desktop analyst support
• SCCM expertise. ex package builds and app deployment. Also referred to as Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM)

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain and administer existing Enterprise Desktop Technology Domain (EDTD) hardware & software.
• Lead projects to implement EDTD technologies.
• Provide subject matter technical assistance, knowledge transfer and mentoring to other IT Staff and other technology users for the EDTD.
• Evaluate, recommend new or improved methods, tools or systems for the EDTD and integrate future technology solutions into the EDTD.
• Actively steer business unit process analysis and technology decisions by providing consultation on enterprise desktop applications, technology and implementation approaches.
• Act as lead resource on projects that utilize or affect enterprise systems resources.

QUALIFICATIONS : Education :

Education :

Required : High School Diploma or Equivalent.

Preferred : Bachelor’s degree in a computer-related field

Related Experience :

Required : Six (6) years of demonstrated technical experience in supporting or administering a relevant technology (e.g. Microsoft Windows, MSOffice, Active Directory) in a medium size corporate environment is required.

A college degree may be considered in lieu of 2 years comparable related experience.

Enterprise level certification (e.g. : Microsoft Modern Desktop Administrator, Microsoft End-Point Manager Administrator, Microsoft Orchestrator, , Microsoft Enterprise Desktop Administrator) may be considered in lieu of experience or education requirements.

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities (KSA)

Required : Working knowledge and ability to support and administer most of the following Advanced Enterprise Technology Components :

• System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM / MECM) or other Windows imaging and software deployment technologies
• 3rd level IT escalation support including networking, group policy, security
• Workstation Administration (e.g. Microsoft Active Directory, Group Policy, BeyondTrust Power Broker)
• Microsoft Desktop technology products (e.g. Windows 10 and higher, MSOffice, MSProject)
• Software package development and associated tools (e.g. AdminStudio, Orca)
• PowerShell expertise
• Apple Desktop technology products (e.g. OS X, iOS, Office for Mac)
• JAMF Casper Suite, or other Apple imaging and software deployment technologies
• Mobile computing (e.g. Mobile devices, Microsoft Direct Access,
• Service Management infrastructure components
• Inventory, CMDB Management (SQL, pc lifecycle management
