Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a Training Specialist.

Position type : Contract

Duration : 12- Month contract

Location : Chicago, IL 60611 / HYBRID

As a(n) Training Specialist you will :

O VERVIEW

  • Training Plan Development
  • Develop comprehensive training plans based on organizational objectives, project requirements, and employee feedback.
  • Identify training needs through job analysis, skills gap assessments, and consultation with stakeholders. This may include participation in UAT to understand the newly designed platform and the features and functionality that will be important to certain end user groups.
  • Content Development
  • Design and create training content, including presentations, manuals, guides, videos, and e-learning modules.
  • Ensure training content is engaging, accurate, and aligned with organizational goals and standards.
  • Adopt content to work with client's current Learning Platform.
  • Training Coordination & Facilitation :
  • Coordinate and facilitate training sessions, ensuring smooth execution and high-quality delivery.
  • Manage training logistic, including scheduling, room setup, and resource allocation.
  • Stakeholder Engagement
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as HR, project managers, and department heads, to identify training needs and develop tailored programs.
  • Communicate training plans and schedules to stakeholders, ensuring alignment with project timelines and objectives.
  • Training Evaluation and Continuous Improvement
  • Assess the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, surveys, and performance metrics.
  • Implement continuous improvement practices, adjusting training content and delivery methods based on feedback and outcomes.
  • Resource Management
  • Maintain a library of training resources and ensure they are up-to-date and accessible to employees.
  • Coordinate with external vendors and trainers as needed, ensuring high-quality content and delivery.
  • Leverage Adult Learning Methodologies and Best Practices
  • Apply adult learning theory to the development of the training materials and provide training in a way that is easy to access and digest.
  • Ensure training programs comply with relevant regulations and organizational policies.
  • Stay up to date with industry best practices in training and development.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in training and development or a related field.
  • Experience in creating training content and delivering training sessions.
  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills, with the ability to engage and inspire participants.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in training content development tools and e-learning platforms.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality.
  • Adaptable and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Other considerations :

Your experience should demonstrate flexibility and adaptability, ability to self-manage, and strong empathy as you work with a diverse audience.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILL SETS, AND ABILITIES

  • Familiarity with principles of adult learning, instructional design, training techniques and creating engaging materials, whether for in-person or virtual learning.
  • Ability to select the best communication channels and practices for the greatest impact.
  • Quickly adapt to a complex organization with multiple layers of stakeholders (Internally and externally) and multiple content approvers.
  • Strong computer and technical skills, including intermediate expertise with the Microsoft Suite of software as well as a demonstrated aptitude for learning new specialized software tools.
  • Strong professional, interpersonal, customer service, and oral communication skills with all levels of staff and management.

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Education, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Additional certifications in training and development, such as Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP) or other relevant certifications, are a plus

The ideal candidate will have : LMS experience, Video Conferencing, Collaboration Platform, training program experience, creating training content.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS :

Pay Range* : Between $45-55 per hour

Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
