POSITION TITLE : L2 Assembler
Perform duties to assemble a variety of subassemblies and / or finished products, perform functional testing to meet product specifications, quality checks, and on time deliveries.
- Able to read blueprints, schematics and shop drawings. Basic understanding of part specifications and tolerances.
- Makes effective decisions in the midst of change.
- Communicates effectively.
- Demonstrates cooperation and collaboration while working toward team success.
- Assemble a variety of subassemblies used on specific industry application equipment.
- Has the ability to work both independently and with others.
- Lubricate, align, and adjust subassemblies for free working and proper operation.
- Perform operating tests per product checklists.
- Immediately report any tools or machinery which is not operating properly to your team coordinator or manager.
- Perform multi cell assembly duties and misc duties as assigned.
- Use feeler gauge, Common hand and power tools, arbor press, hydraulic press, and hand trucks.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
- Diversified work, requires considerable judgment and initiative.
- Participation in group, department, and safety meetings.
- Willingly learns new duties
- Prevents scrap and rework.
- Customer orientated, works to exceed customer expectations.
- Able to build products to the established standard.
- Reports to work regularly and on time.
- Proactive in identifying and communicating simplification methods and potential cost reductions. Seeks out new challenges.
