We are hiring a VP of Finance & Accounting! The VP of Finance & Accounting will be a key executive responsible for the overall financial management and accounting functions of CYM.

This role will lead the accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting functions of the organization, providing strategic leadership, guidance, and hands-on work to ensure the company’s fiscal health and long-term growth.

The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in financial management, strong leadership skills, and a proven ability to drive financial strategy in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

The VP will oversee a growing accounting team and ensure that financial operations are aligned with our company goals and core values as we continue to grow.

As a CYM leader, you’ll make an impact by : Mentoring and developing your team Creating extraordinary moments for guests Contributing to our business with your ideas and feedback Supporting and lifting up our communities and neighborhoods Your core responsibilities will be : Oversee all aspects of financial accounting, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll functions.

Lead the development and execution of financial strategies that support business objectives and growth initiatives. Collaborate with Executive Leadership to create long-term financial plans, including the preparation of multi-year capital expenditure budgets Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with GAAP and other relevant regulations.

Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes. Create and lead the annual budgeting process, working closely with department heads to develop accurate and achievable financial plans.

Monitor actual performance against budgets, providing variance analysis and adjusting forecasts as necessary. Partner with senior management to develop, track, communicate and improve impactful key performance indicators as it relates to our day to day business Ensure the company maintains strong internal controls and complies with tax, audit, and regulatory requirements.

Continuously evaluate and improve financial processes, systems, and tools to increase efficiency, accuracy, and effectiveness across the organization.

Ensure effective cash flow management, capital allocation, and risk management practices to support the company’s growth and stability.

Conduct ad-hoc financial analyses to support strategic decisions and provide insights to senior management. Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance and accounting team.

Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments, including operations, marketing, and human resources, to support business initiatives and financial decision-making.

You’ll be a great addition to the CYM team if you have : : Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field;

CPA or MBA preferred. Minimum of 10 years of finance and accounting experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role, preferably in the quick service restaurant or retail industry.

Strong knowledge of GAAP and experience managing financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.

Demonstrated success in leading and developing high-performing finance and accounting teams. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software, with the ability to work with large sets of data.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence business decisions.

High level of integrity, with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
