is hiring Diesel Preventative Maintenance Technicians in Savannah, Georgia.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities :
- Perform preventative maintenance Inspections in accordance with TICO policy.
- Ability to complete minor repairs to hydraulic system components, drive train, cab chassis etc. (i.e. replace belts, hoses, u joints, air lines etc.).
- Completes required documentation using the fleet maintenance software program, ensuring accurate information is captured on vehicle repairs, parts usage, and repair times.
- Perform routine oil changes and parts lubrication per specified schedule.
- Perform minor replacements, repairs, and adjustments as needed.
- Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures.
- Maintains a clean, safe work area in compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and Company standards.
- Operate unit to verify conformance to specifications.
- Detect unusual noises while operating equipment.
- Submit required job completion paperwork to Shop Manager.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements and Qualifications :
- A minimum of one year’s experience in automotive / truck, light or heavy equipment maintenance and repair or completion of accredited vocational technical school program.
- Valid drivers’ license
- Must have own tools.
- Drug test required.
