About the Role :
Join our team at Blount Construction Company, Inc. as an Asphalt Paving Operator. We are a leading construction company with a focus on quality and safety, and we are looking for a skilled operator to help us continue our tradition of excellence.
Responsibilities :
- Operate asphalt paver and other heavy equipment to lay and smooth asphalt on roads, parking lots, and other surfaces
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment and ensure proper functioning
- Follow safety procedures and regulations to maintain a safe work environment
- Coordinate with other crew members to ensure efficient and high-quality work
- Monitor and adjust machine settings to ensure proper asphalt thickness and smoothness
Requirements :
- 3+ years of experience operating asphalt pavers and related equipment
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and physical stamina to perform manual labor as needed
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work
- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures
