Lead Coating Operator
Location : Caledonia, MI
Pay : $22-$26 / hour + $2 shift premium
Shift : Night shift, 6pm-6am, 2-2-3
ESSENTIAL DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Provides full operational support for the coating line.
- Responsible for overall quality of materials produced.
- Responsible for organizing, giving basic direction, and performing careful communications with supporting staff.
- Responsible for meeting company safety, throughput, waste goals.
- Accurate production data entry on ERP system (Materials used, finished label production, down time notes, etc)
- Specific cleaning duties on or off the coating line.
- Performs Operator Basic Care, and assists in reliability functions, and improvements.
SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED :
- Previous experience in web handling processes
- Previous experience in coating, printing, or converting.
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Knows how to use basic hand tools properly and safely.
- Basic computer and data entry skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Able to organize and plan and direct a team to achieve goals.

- Committed to working in a clean, neat manner and promoting a 5S environment.
- Strong attention to details with desire for accuracy
- Effective communication (oral and written)
- Basic technology skills (human machine interface and data entry into the ERP system)
- Ability and desire to work independently and closely within a team.
